About me

Hi there! I’m Liu Fenglin, and I am currently a second-year graduate student in the Intelligent Perception and Control Lab at Shenzhen University. My primary research focus lies in 3D point clouds and embodied intelligence.

During my internship at Midea Group, I served as an algorithm engineer intern for a year, specializing in the exploration of cutting-edge 3D point cloud multimodal models. During this time, I independently developed a dual-modal model for point cloud text, enabling the description of input point clouds. This model achieved state-of-the-art performance in zero-shot classification on the ScanObjectNN dataset. Additionally, I participated in Midea’s self-developed 3D industrial camera project, where I was responsible for developing a point cloud display module using OpenGL. I successfully completed the module development from scratch within two days, ensuring the timely launch of the product demo. My internship also involved testing the effectiveness of segmentation and detection models in practical business scenarios, contributing to the exploration of new business directions.

During my undergraduate studies, I served as a project leader, overseeing a provincial-level innovation project. My responsibilities included conducting laser experiments and analyzing experimental data using matplotlib. My graduation project focused on the calibration method of binocular cameras, employing Zhang Zhengyou’s camera calibration method to achieve target ranging within a 10-meter range.

As a graduate student, I have used OpenCV to process and recognize QR codes under uneven lighting conditions, and I have compared the recognition performance of several neural networks on handwritten font datasets. Currently, I am exploring the application of embodied intelligence to the laboratory’s existing robotic arms, as well as the intelligent grasping processes of these arms.

I possess a strong learning drive and self-motivation in the field of multimodality and eagerly anticipate exchanges of ideas with those who share the same passion for growth and exploration.
